BBPP is pleased to be teaching Theater/Acting Classes at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts in Annapolis again this Winter/Spring. Please join us! We offer classes for kids as young as 4 and as old as 17. Our classes are an amazing value, and if you become a member of Maryland Hall ($40 per year, per family), you save even more (perfect for families with multiple kids in class, or who plan to take classes all year)!

Theater Adventures, Ages 4-7


Fri 11:00am to 11:45am / Start Date: January 10, 2020 / End Date: March 27, 2020

Member Tuition: $115.00, Non-Member: $140.00


Young actors will be introduced to theater in this fun and imaginative class through theater games and storytelling. Families are welcome to attend a sharing of what the students have learned during the last class.

Spring Play Production: The Reluctant Dragon, Ages 8-13


Wed 04:00 am to 05:30 pm / Start Date: January 08, 2020 / End Date: March 25, 2020

Member Tuition: $185.00, Non-Member: $210.00


Shine on the stage! Over 12 classes, students will rehearse and perform the classic story, “The Reluctant Dragon”, to be presented at the end of the session to families in an evening performance, all the time gaining the acting and team-building skills needed to produce a show.

Homeschool Play Production: The Reluctant Dragon, Ages 7-11

Building Better Artists, Ages 13-18

New students must audition before registration.

Tue 12:00am to 8:30pm / Start Date: January 14, 2020 / End Date: April 21, 2020 (No class 2/4 and 4/7) / Performance Date: The week of April 21
Member Tuition: $350.00, Non-Member: $375.00


Building Better People Productions is pleased to continue our audition-only teen acting troupe and training program,
Building Better Artists. Students will dive further into acting and performance, and perform a play at the end of the session. The semester starts with a 2-week skills session, then auditions and rehearsal for our spring show. The end-of-session evening performance will take place at the end of April. Fall members of the troupe do not need to reaudition, they just need to reregister. New students should contact Lynne Childress at lynne@bbpproductions.com or call 443-906-0099 to schedule a slot for an audition.

Shine on the Stage, Ages 5+


Wednesdays 10:00am to 12:00pm / Start Date: January 22, 2020 End Date: April 29, 2020

Member Tuition: $185.00, Non-Member: $210.00


Students will rehearse and perform a simple play, all the time gaining the acting and team-building skills needed to produce a show. Students will perform “Peggy the Pint-Sized Pirate”, a show about a little person with a big heart, showing everyone that she is more capable than anyone imagined. A final perfromance will of student work will happen at the end of the class!
